Nigeria - No Music Day

1. 9. 2014

1st September 2014

Nigerian Music Industry Coalition declared the 1st September as No Music Day. This event is in its sixth year and wants to focus attention on the infringement of the rights of the authors, preformers, producers, publishers, etc. of the Nigerian music industry.

Activities of this event also consist of not broadcasting of music between 9am and 10am on the 1st September 2014. It is some kind of mark of solidarity with the creative industry.

The first No Music Day was held on the 1st September 2009.
