CJEU Judgement Case Amazon v Austro-Mechana

CJEU gave judgement on private copying levies in the case C-521/11 (Amazon v Austro-Mechana). The judgement is positive. It confirms that a presumption of private use for recording media sold to individuals, and the use of cultural funds for social or cultural establishments for the benefit of right holders are both compatible with EU law.
